Website hosting cost calculator
Calculate introductory and renewal hosting costs over the same period, including a setup fee.

Your inputs stay in your browser. An estimate, not a quote.
How the calculation works
Intro months use the first rate; remaining months use the renewal rate. The result models cost over your chosen period, not necessarily the amount due at checkout. Taxes and optional add-ons are excluded.
Before you decide
Run a low, expected and high-cost scenario. Confirm contract terms and what is excluded, then keep the assumptions alongside your result. A precise calculation is only as useful as the figures you put into it.
Read the planning guides →Use the number as a decision aid.
Separate advertised rate from cash due
A monthly equivalent may require one, two or four years of payment at checkout. Enter the rate and introductory months to compare time periods, then separately note the real upfront bill and refund terms. Annualising cost helps comparison but does not make a prepaid contract monthly.
A worked contract example
An illustrative $3 rate for twelve months followed by $8 for twenty-four months costs $228 over three years before tax and setup. The average is $6.33 per month, but the payment schedule may be $36 now and $192 at renewal. Budget for the dates on the actual invoice rather than only the average.
Add the switching allowance
Changing hosts can require a temporary overlap, migration work and testing. Those costs are not in this calculator. For a site with changing orders or member data, a move needs a more careful cutover than a static brochure site. Keep the old service active until the destination and recovery path are verified.
Questions to answer before purchase
Check renewal price, contract length, cancellation notice, backup retention, restore charges, supported software and resource limits. Identify whether email is tied to the hosting account. Save the offer and accepted terms because the product page can change after purchase.
Build a complete website hosting estimate
Start with the introductory rate and exactly how many months it applies. Add the renewal rate for the remaining period and include any setup fee. Then keep separate notes for tax, domain registration, email, paid backups and migration because this calculator does not silently assume they are included. Comparing the same number of months prevents a low monthly headline from winning against a shorter or more complete quotation.
