Record evidence, not only ticks.
For each completed item, keep a short note outside the browser: the date, person who checked it and evidence such as the verified destination of a form message or the location of a restored backup. The browser stores only the checked state and cannot certify the site.
Test the visitor journey first
Start signed out on a phone. Find the main information, follow navigation and complete the action the website exists to support. Test an error case as well as a successful case. Confirm the result at its destination instead of trusting a success banner.
Assign unresolved work
An unchecked item needs an owner and a retest date. Distinguish launch blockers from improvements that can follow, but do not postpone ownership, HTTPS, working forms or a recoverable backup. Export the checklist for project records when the review is complete.
